Sales Manager

For a well-established and growing distributor of industrial pipes, fittings and valves, we are recruiting for this newly created role of Sales Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- Working closely with a small-knit team and reporting into the Managing Director, the Sales Manager will have a dual role: actively selling the product range, and managing a Sales Representative.
- You will develop and implement strategic plans to achieve long-term growth of sales targets within your territory, whilst leveraging relationships of the wider group of companies.
- As Sales Manager, your focus will be on building trusting relationships, networking with customers whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- You will manage the performance of a Sales Representative, mentoring and developing them to achieve their targets and grow.
The candidate profile:
- You might be a Sales Representative, Area Sales Manager, or Sales Executive looking for the chance to make your mark in a small and dynamic business. You will have experience growing customer accounts, preferably in industrial components such as valves, fittings, tubes and pipes, preferably with some welding and fabrication knowledge.
- A highly enthusiastic and energetic sales professional, you will have demonstrable experience implementing your sales strategy in an agile SME environment.
- Highly customer focused, you are a natural networker who thrives on building relationships and gaining maximum exposure to your territory.
